Joslyn Rose Lyons has been producing, directing and creating unique stories for more than a decade in film and television. Her first feature documentary, “Soundz of Spirit” debuted at the Urbanworld Film Festival, London Raindance, Black International Cinema Berlin, Los Angeles International, and won Best Music Documentary at the New York International. She has produced content for HBO, OWN, Discovery and MTV. Her passion for music has led her to build an extensive portfolio as a music video director (Talib Kweli, Mali Music, Chad Hugo/N.E.R.D.) and produce promos and specials for VH1, Centric and BET; including work with Erykah Badu, Cee-Lo Green, Angie Stone and the first Music Matters Grammy Showcase at the Creative Artists Agency (CAA). Joslyn has contributed to Award Winning Documentaries for MSNBC, PBS, Oprah Winfrey Network among others. She has produced social media content and campaigns for film, television, and studios. Her production extends to BETx Celebrity Basketball Game and music showcases. She is the founder and curator for The Museum of Light (Robert Glasper, Rafael Casal & Daveed Diggs, Pharoahe Monch) and is currently producing and creating television and documentary projects for a number of outlets.
